The technology of espresso machines is becoming increasingly sophisticated and expensive. Handpresso decided to go the opposite way and look for simplicity. This thinking led to the invention of the Handpresso Wild, a device small enough to fit in a handbag! “The idea was to serve a perfect espresso with the right amount of water and coffee”, says inventor Henrik Nielsen. “Small, light (460g) and easy to use”. You manually pump the Handpresso Wild until the pressure rises to 16 bar, pour hot water into the small water reservoir, insert an E.S.E. pod and obtain an espresso, perfect with crema. No need for electricity.

This simple concept is complemented by sophisticated technology and a sleek and elegant design. Handpresso Wild has been nominated for the Observeur du Design 08 awards and is currently exhibited at the Cité des Sciences in Paris.
