Design Awards 
The Red Dot Design Award is one of the world's most important international design competitions with more than 4,000 applicants each year. The best contenders in the fields of product design and communications design are awarded the Red Dot Label, and the winning products are exhibited in the "red dot design museum". The Red Dot Design Award is considered the international seal of quality for outstanding product design, exemplary functionality and appearance.

Since its inauguration in 1953, the iF design award has existed as an enduring, prestigious trademark for outstanding design. Today, this award is regarded as one of the most important design competitions worldwide, attracting over 1,800 entries from 30 different countries every year. The jury, composed of top international designers, not only critically examines and selects the award-winning entries, but also guarantees iF's special status and the high-quality reputation of the iF label. Products are evaluated for quality of design, materials, innovation, environmental sustainability, functionality, ergonomics, safety and longevity.

The Design Plus award, presented by a distinguished jury stands for product design which is not merely an end in itself but instead very much exemplary and trend-setting. Aesthetic qualities, function, material, manufacturing quality and ecological compatibility are the criteria according to which products are awarded the Design Plus prize. The Design Plus award stands for product design of consumer goods which function, and function better than their predecessors, which are environmentally friendly, attractive and useful and which have not been on the market for more than two years.
